The Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters Club's Merdeka Theme Meeting

24 August 2004, the Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters Club staged its Merdeka Theme Meeting, which was one of the club's many theme meetings for the year. A theme adds extra excitement to a meeting.
About 30 members and guests attended the club's very own national day celebration to commemorate the 47th Independence Day of Malaysia. The Toastmaster of the Evening, TC Lim, DTM, set the mood for an exciting and educational evening.

During the meeting the Merdeka Birthdays of some members, led by Area K1 Governor Yee That Hian, ATM-S, were celebrated with a cake cutting ceremony.
