The Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters Club’s Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contests


27 August 2004, Kevin Lim, with his speech entitled “Aggressive Dragon, Blossom Flower,” humoured his audience to win the Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters Club’s Humorous Speech Contest recently. In second place was Paul Mathew who talked about “Three in One,” while Cecelia Matuya clinched the third placing with her speech entitled “Colour Your Life.”
In the Evaluation Contest, Kevin Lim again won for demonstrating the best evaluation technique. Jeremy Pinso won second placing while Amran Aliamat finished third. The test speaker was Lawrence Lee, who delivered a speech entitled “National Tragedy.”

Present at the contests were Division K Governor Richard A. Gontusan, Area K1 Governor Yee That Hian and Club President John Liew.
